Quad Cities (KWQC) – Many arts and theater facilities closed their doors in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this year, their opening back up.

Rick Palmer, Director of the Adler Theatre and River Center says plans are in place to begin hosting events as early as January 2021.

Palmer says social distancing measures have been implemented in their facilities, to ensure the safety of those who come.

He also mentions good news to those who purchased tickets last year but never got to see a show.

“Absolutely, and how that’s been working- refunded anybody whose wanted a refund based on the rescheduling, and as those dates get closer, then the tickets that you purchased, if you didn’t refund them, are good for that date, and you’ll be able to see the show you want. Then if we reschedule again, then we’ll offer refunds again,” said Palmer.

Palmer says to stay updated on upcoming events you can head to and sign up for a subscription.
